1.Definitions
"Platform" refers to the Skelo web application and all associated services operated by Skelo.
"User", "you", or "your" refers to any individual or organisation accessing the Platform, including admins, vendors, institutions, faculty, trainers, and students.
"Content" refers to any material made available through the Platform, including questions, assessments, learning paths, code, and reports.
2.Eligibility & Accounts
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and keep it updated.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Accounts are provisioned within a multi-tenant hierarchy (Vendor → Institution → Batch → Student/Faculty). Access to features depends on the role assigned to your account.
3.Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful educational, training, assessment, and hiring purposes. In particular, you agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, other accounts, or connected systems.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with proctoring, anti-cheating, or security features during assessments.
- Copy, distribute, or resell assessment content, questions, or answer keys without authorisation.
- Upload malicious code, or use the code-execution environment to attack or disrupt the service.
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another user during any assessment or interview.
4.Assessments, Proctoring & Academic Integrity
Certain assessments are proctored and may monitor tab activity, camera, and screen state to preserve integrity. By taking a proctored assessment you consent to such monitoring for the duration of the assessment.
Violations of integrity rules may result in the invalidation of results, restriction of access, or termination of your account, at the discretion of the institution or Skelo.
5.AI-Driven Features
The Platform provides AI-assisted features such as mock interviews, automated evaluation, and feedback. AI-generated output is provided for guidance and practice and may contain inaccuracies. It should not be treated as a definitive assessment of ability or as professional advice.
You retain responsibility for reviewing and validating any AI-generated content before relying on it.
6.Intellectual Property
All Platform software, design, branding (including the Skelo name and logo), and original content are the property of Skelo or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Content that you create or upload remains yours, but you grant Skelo a limited licence to host, process, and display it as required to provide the service.
7.Payments & Wallet
Certain features are metered and consume prepaid tokens held in a vendor wallet. Wallet top-ups are processed through our third-party payment gateway (Razorpay).
Pricing and token consumption rates are displayed at the point of use and may be updated from time to time. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy.
8.Service Availability
We aim to keep the Platform available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, with or without notice, for maintenance, security, or operational reasons.
9.Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skelo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amounts paid by you to Skelo in the preceding twelve months.
10.Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform if you breach these terms or engage in conduct that harms the Platform, other users, or Skelo. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.
11.Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12.Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
